UNDERSERVED PHOTOGRAPHY PROGRAM: “Youth Photo Hour” is offered at MUSC Wellness Center. This program is for numerous underserved communities. Take fun pictures while learning the fundamentals of photography. Eligible groups must complete an application and be chartered by an organization or sponsor. A RESPITE CHILDCARE PROGRAM for children with special needs is offered the last Saturday of each month from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Charleston Bible Church, 524 Arlington Drive in West Ashley. Parents of children any age with any disability can drop their kids off for a free night of childcare. Activities include therapeutic dogs, movies, crafts and music. THE CHARLESTON MIRACLE LEAGUE gives children ages 5 to 18 with special needs (i.e. mental and/or physical challenges) the opportunity to play baseball, for free, in formally organized league at a state-of-the-art complex built specifically for them.
