Camp Submissions

Every year, Lowcountry Parent magazine publishes an extensive list of residential (overnight) summer camps in its February edition, followed by an even larger list of day camps in its March edition.

To submit a residential (overnight) camp entry, email it to Lowcountry Parent Editor Matt Winter at mwinter@postandcourier.com. Residential camp submissions must be received by Jan. 10.

To submit a day camp entry, email it to Lowcountry Parent freelance writer Chris Worthy at  chris@worthyplace.com. Day camp submissions must be received by Jan. 27.

Entries should be made on a Word document, and should follow this format:

A general description, up to 30 words, of the camp's offerings, what children will be doing, any requirements or details. Entries will be edited for content, clarity and length.

Camps with that offer multiple programs and dates should be condensed into one entry (30-word description limit won't apply):
